Some of the design work i did on Strider's roaming turrets. They were nicknamed 'Mr Peanut' because the original reference (which can be seen at the top of one of the images) didn't really have a name. Depending on which of the 4 zones of the city you were in, you would encounter different flavors of Peanut. The 'City' Peanut was to be out among the public. so it needed to be patriotic and official looking. The military peanut needed to be more utilitarian and predatory. The Research station peanuts needed to look more technologically advanced, and the underground peanuts were 'old' military units that had been hybridized with organic living components and were infested with bugs. Such a fun project!
